Capturing community, light, and everyday moments
Photography has been my professional passion for more than thirty years. I began my career working with film, learning the craft in the traditional way and gaining a deep appreciation for light, composition, and storytelling through the lens. As photography evolved, I transitioned from film to digital while continuing to build on the strong foundation that first shaped my work.
Today I work entirely in digital photography, capturing authentic moments and real stories. One of the aspects of my work I value most is photographing for a local newspaper, where I have the opportunity to document community events, people, and everyday life as it unfolds. In addition to my newspaper work, I also freelance on a variety of projects.
Along with my editorial and freelance work, I also create and sell fine art photography including landscapes, abstract imagery, and still-life compositions. These pieces reflect my artistic side and allow me to explore light, color, texture, and form in a more expressive way.
After three decades behind the camera, my goal remains the same—to tell stories through images and create photographs that connect with people.
